Looking for other fans of travel books and movies? We’re keeping track of all travel book clubs and movie clubs around the world (and on-line)! If you have a group you want us to include, contact us! (Please note, we only include groups that highlight travel books and travel movies.)
Virtual Clubs
- Book Club (Girls LOVE Travel (R)): Each month has a theme. Nominations are made and voted in a poll; top 3-4 are discussed.
- Wanderlust Readers: A country/travel-related theme is selected for each month, group members read their own book choice, and everyone comes together to discuss/compare over Google Meet at the end of the month. (Contact @travelbooksandmovies on Instagram if interested in joining.)
- JourneyWoman Book Club: A quarterly book club held on the third Wednesday of the month at 8 p.m. Eastern. Discussions take place on Zoom and are limited to the first 50 people, but discussions can be rewatched afterwards.

Virginia
- Alexandria: Women of the World Book Club: This book club reads a book by a female author every month. The focus is on international writers, and sometimes Americans writing about different places in the world.
- Virginia Beach: Armchair Travelers Book Club: Organized through the Read Books Bookshop, meets once a month to discuss a shared book. Guests are requested to RSVP in advance.
Washington, D.C.
Politics and Prose Travel Book Club: Meets the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. Books are nominated and voted on about six months in advance and members take turns leading the discussion.
